The phantom zone in this instance, is just outside Riyadh and is the compound I live on. I live on one just like this, though this isn’t actually mine.
The title is from a track by ‘Bill Nelson’s Red Noise’ from the ‘Sound on Sound’ album (yes, real vinyl) released in 1979. Given that it’s already been suggested that the image looks like either a prison or a mental asylum, I suspect the title choice was probably quite apt.
