In Your Room

Where time stands still...
Or moves at your will
Will you let the morning come soon
Or will you leave me lying here
In your favourite darkness
Your favourite half-light
Your favourite consciousness
Your favourite slave

The Applegarth Cat

Who says you can't manipulate a cat?

Taken at the Applegarth Hotel about half way up the main stairs. We've been staying there for the past few days and the way the light hits the place can be just magical at times - I have though missed the one shot I wanted to take :( - should you ever get the opportunity, this is one place that's well worth staying at.

The Graduate

I really should have explained "H'ordeuvres" when I posted it a couple of days ago. Well this is the reason for being there, it was for AM's Open University graduation ceremony at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. AM is the lovely young lady in the lower left who seems to want to make eye contact with me. Well done her and all the other graduates. The collective amount of effort in that hall needed to not only acquire a degree, but to do it at home, away from the four walls of academia, often alongside a full-time job and family commitments is quite staggering. It was a nice day, it has to be said.
